I'm sorry to gush but omg Ronaldo's so hot! GUSH GUSH GUSH! Hahah nah I just realized that I've never really heard him talk properly before and I saw the BBC clip of Fergie passing him his trophy and he was like, "Thank you thank you" and oohhh his voice is kind of suave-like and his English is also very good! I mean, I understood him! Hahaha!

It's true sia, I understand these Spanish and Portugese players better than the English managers in the EPL. Super thick accent and they all sound like Sean Connery, which is bloody annoying when I have to listen to their post-match interviews. AH *hugs Ronny*

Oh and I had a dream about him last night. I was insisting to Rao and other samba people that Ronaldo knows how to play the "seerdof". I think I remember it as seerdor timpani. WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT INSTRUMENT SIA?! I think Seerdof is a person. God. But I was saying in the dream, "Of course he can play the seerdof, he's Portugese what!" And everybody around me nodded in agreement.




Fabregas's english is excellent! He speaks it so fluently. I guess all this while, I've been expecting him to speak Spanish. But he mumbles, but then again, all the footballers mumble. Argh subtitles please! Oh and he looks good in a suit.

life is but a dream

Omg I had a dream about Eric!!! It must be because I was watching the trailer for Que Sera Sere yesterday and I shrieked everytime his face was shown. Hahaha in the dream, I was sitting at my computer as usual and Eric was in front of the TV in my living room, which would mean he was beside me on the left. He was wearing this blue sweater and he had short hair, like the one he was sporting in the coca-cola ads pics of him that I posted earlier.

But it was weird though. I knew he was Eric but he was Eric AND Mayz at the same time. Mayz is my sister's boyfriend/fiancee and the image in my dream kept alternating between Mayz and Eric, and I remember Mayz was very handsome in my dream and he had such clear grey eyes. So we ate together, go jalan-jalan semua and just talked and suddenly, I woke up and I was sitting in front of my computer.

Then I sighed and said out loud, "Omg I dreamt about Eric."

And I turned to my left and THERE HE WAS, Eric MOON in the blue sweater! And I shrieked and screamed, "OHMYGOD ERIC!! YOU'RE REALLY HERE!!!"

And Eric, looking puzzled and dashing, said, "Why, of course I'm here! (the "like duh" was in his tone)"

I was so freaking happy, you could say I was "over the Moon" no pun intended. I cannot believe it was real lah! So you know what happened after that. I woke up in my bed, it's Saturday morning and I'm thinking..."Eh I dreamt about Eric ..."

Alah IT WAS JUST A DREAM IM SO DISAPPOINTED SIA. WHAT THE HELL ARGH.

Ps: The blue sweater that he was wearing in my dream isn't the one he's wearing in the pic below. It was a long-sleeve sky blue sweater. (Why am I telling people this detail? ARGH.)

And unbelieveably, Mayz can say "STOPPET SEY" which is so wrong!! Hahaha! Stop teaching him nonsense Aishah. Izzah said, "Dah berbulan-bulan, itu je dier boleh cakap?!" She sounded like a disappointed principal, and looks like one too.

the tingles that makes me giggle

I was in school yesterday to rent graduation gowns, but ended up doing nothing except hanging (or kepohing) @ Samba's booth which was a bit weird because I was the only non-samba person there. However, I got to watch the dikir barat performance, which I think was my very first time ever watching them live and me standing directly in front of the stage. 3 years (plus plus) and THAT was my first time okay, after I have graduated! Maccows.

Anyhoo, I followed Rao to the library to go see her Zizan but I ended up watching Xman on my own computer.

And Park Myung Soo is so super funny in #46 that I had to pause and laugh until tears came to my eyes while Rao looked at me weird. Eh please eh Rao, you were giggling to yourself too! Haiz it really tickled me, even more so because I had to hold it in. I think KJK got funnier after YEH left. The Ha-Myung-Gook group! Okay will stop with the Xman for a while.

What happened to our Friday meetings? I'm all showered and I even washed and scrubbed the toilet just now. But alas, I have no money to travel. Oh well. *continues watching Sweeney Todd*

Wow I know I said that I would not watch AI again but I just HAD to peek when they were doing Mariah Carey and this week, they did Mr. Webber and eeks can't resist. Though I sigh and wonder, what would Michael have sung if he was there? Argh, a shot through my heart! Anyways, I think either Brooke or Jason should go. Really disappointing since I've liked them from the beginning but shrugs.

Jason Castro is absolutely darling, I love him to bits. Maybe because he's like another Jack Johnson-John Mayer-Jason Mraz-James Morrison-combo that I love, just because of all the "J"s. Also maybe because he's gorgeous and he reminds me of John Travolta.
(But wait I just re-watched Grease this afternoon and ohmygod, Johnny baby is waaaay hotter than Mr. Castro, no offence, but with his smooth dance moves and his swagger and greasy hair, how can dreadlocks beat that??? I was shrieking from the hotness of it all. So what if he's fat now, he still oozes charisma. *slurps*)

Anyhoo JASON, he ruined one of my favourite songs!!! I was hoping someone would sing Memory (or Memories?) but not him, and it's just UM NO NO!! NO! Elaine Paige still makes the hair on my arms stand. It's so freaking sedih when she sings it, and I'm thinking, "OMG this poor old cat!!!"

And David Archuleta sang "Think of Me", which I've only seen Emmy Rossum do (yes that beautiful girl that Yati can't stand to look at) and it's just wrong!! I prefer her singing it.

My fav. then would have to be David Cook's Music of the Night. Power, awesome possum with a squirrel! Okay I'm a fan! *waves flag*

the helium balloon

I bought my nephew a helium-filled balloon for his 1st birthday and he liked it, he really liked it! OR he was very annoyed by it and continued to try to bat it away but unfortunately, it was tied to him. He was damn cute though and I especially LOVE the end of this video, where he was making baby sounds! Incomprehensible but oh so adorable.

I wished I had continued videoing because after I stopped the video, he continued baby talking and mumbling at the balloon and shrieking and bouncing on his bottom, amusing all of us thoroughly. Aaawww I sayang you Ryan, Mr. Danny boy!

happy 20th birthday!

I might have left this entry a bit late but hey, it's still the 22nd right? I got to spend the last few minutes of this person's teenage years with her, while she puffed away at the 89 busstop. Gotta say that although she says that her birthday party may be a little narcissistic, I thought it was rocking great! Maybe that's because the milahtants and I developed groupie-syndrome on a few boys from the band Rock Concert Heroes. *sheepish smile*

I had Ryan's birthday party too that day and ZOMG I promise I'll upload the videos ASAP. I have a very cute one of Ryan and also a few of the birthday girl that she told me to put up as birthday gifts for her. Yeah I came late for her party but when I reached, I found her blindfolded at the bottom of a dimly lit staircase, armed with a stick (no TWO sticks) being cheered on from all sides by rowdy boys that I didn't recognize at all. And her victim? A Hello Kitty pinyata.

That was super funny though because they were urging her to "KASI MATI TU HELLO KITTY!" and she was swinging the stick around and hitting a few people and finally, when she got her target, she swung away in a sadistic manner that only she can achieve. Gory gory indeed!

And when I went inside to find the other milahtants, I found them sitting and eating away happily but aaawwww so sweet, they set aside satay for me specifically. THANK YOU! I missed Yadh's spectacular fire show (which I'm feeling more disappointed at missing since I've seen the video and it looks WHOA) but after that was a few bands performing and all that was SUPER GEREK. And we all just looveee the Santeria song! Eheeks! And yes Bah our reaction to Rik. Doi. It's just weird finally seeing all these people whose names Bah drops to me constantly and I store away in my memory!

Yes, the birthday girl is Bah and even though MACCOWS she still had to do work DURING her own party, it was still awesome. And memorable. HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY BAH. I don't have any pictures to post...YET. I'll do the videos dulu okay? Mwah mwah!

keep a sinister smile and a hold of your heart

Gah I promised myself that I wouldn't post anymore K-entries on this blog, but rather do it on my LJ but NO! This is MY blog what and I just need to rattle and prattle. Okay so shut up!

ZOMG I just finished watching "The Devil/Lucifer/Mawang" and ARGH I NEED TO SCREAM TO SOMEONE. I just texted Sya but no it's not enough because she's only at disc 2!!! Like UNBELIEVEABLE LAH I want to slap someone. I know most people are used to the love-dovey triangle-rectangle romances in Korean dramas that are such a common plotline (that I somehow don't get sick of) but whatever it is, there is ALWAYS a strong love/romance-plot going on.

So I suggest for those who love the whole high-school students fall in love thing to NOT watch The Devil because it's really different and you guys might keel over and die from it. At some parts it gets boring, especially when they repeat the dialouge. HOWEVER, watch for Joo Ji Hoon man. He smiles alot in this drama but oh my god, it just freaks me out each time! He's creepy and scary but still undeniably gorgeous. Huak huak huak. And I LOVE the song in the drama but maner nak download ah? It's really nice!!





It's annoying that even though his genuine smiles are rare in the shows that he does, when I went to look for pictures of him looking cold and mean, all I get are his bright cheerful smiley faces!! WEI YO!


Oh and although it's been some time since I finished it, "Thank You" is a MUST-WATCH. Yes Fas you're right, it IS good. Engages you right from the start. Okay not the start uh, but more like halfway in the 1st episode when you meet the kid! A real tear-jerker, I swear it's worth sitting in front of your computer @ 3am and crying with tissues everywhere. It's so gerek!
"Robbers" was very funny for like the 1st 9 episodes then, it couldn't end fast enough! URGH.

@ the height of my identity crisis

SO we were watching Crime Watch and my father was on one of his long rants about how the Malays never get justice and I don't know why I did it but I dived into my cushions and desperately countered,

"No no I don't know. I'm Korean!"

But as usual my dad has no reaction to my statement, choosing to bulldoze over whatever I just said and continue steering the conversation in the direction that he wants. If you can even call it a conversation. Haiz, my father has an extreme case of selective hearing that it's so hard to argue with him.

The other day, during my brother's chalet where all my relatives chose to be anti-social and just conquered the TV as our own and had Bai deliver satay to us, my dad told me a very funny story. He was talking about how his boss seemed abit ticked off that the watch that his boss gave to my dad for his birthday or something was given away to my mom. Then my dad proudly stated,

"I don't believe in sentimental things. What's the point? All of these is useless! Everything that people give me, I always give away to other people! The watch my mother gave me for my birthday? I give away to the bilal!"

And he went on and on in that vein, stating all the stuff that he does not treasure. Which is everything! SO different from me, who would keep a tissue just because I have fond memories of the times I went through with that tissue. Geez.

My dad doesn't know when to stop so he continued about how most of the shirts that my mom bought for him he gave away. My mom, who had been listening to the conversation, glared fiercely at my father, which made him start doing his sheepish act.


Abak: "There was one time she (referring to my mother) caught me! I gave one of the shirts she bought me to Imam kat Masjid Abra and happen to be that the day the Imam wore that shirt, I brought Mak to that Masjid!

Then she saw the shirt and she was like, 'Eh....tu baju yang Ju belikan untuk Abang kan?'

And I say, 'No lah...no lah...'

Then she said to me, 'TELL THE TRUTH!' *starts laughing*"

And I swear I was cracking up very badly by then. The way my dad was trying to deny that the shirt was his was soooo funny!!! And his reaction at being caught also! Haiz, sisters you guys should have been there to listen to the conversation lah. Bizzare but in a normal Abak way. Cows no one tells it like Abak!

And my mother was giving him the disapproving stare throughout while him and I laughed, and she said, "Mak tahu Abak selalu kasi baju pada orang....Kat Indonesia pon dia buat habit! Balik je kater 'Tak tahu mana baju nie lah baju tu' asyik hilang ajer. Mak tahu dia kasi pada orang kat sana!"

Ridiculous sey! Abih nak action tak tahu what happened to his clothes. THIS is why he has been wearing the same clothes for the past decade! So now everybody knows.

Ps: But god please when you see my father in person, DON'T mention entries from my blog! He always starts warning me whenever somebody does that. Boo.

friday night TV schedule

Incredibly, I HAVE been following Survivor Micronesia that's playing on Ch5 now. Maybe cos I accidentally caught the first episode and I was like, "Whoo Johnny Fairplay!" but then he asked to be voted out so I was like boo don't want to watch anymore then I started watching again and then I was like, "Whoo Ozzy hotness!" so I watched it from then on, while flipping between Survivor and Princess Hours on ChU.

Tonight was my bro's chalet (which is awesome possum by the way, it's HUGE! GM plus 1 other group should target this place next) and I got fat on satay and my relatives came over too cos their chalet was nearby and okay nevermind takda maknanyer nak explain. Maybe next entry. Anyways, we got there so late and we stayed late and I was fine with that (especially with funny stories and ghost stories and HEY babies!) until the clock struck 11 and Survivor!!!

I ended up watching at the chalet itself (we were all huddled in front of the TV anyways) but they were watching that Siti Zubaidah show and so I only got to watch the like 15 mins of Survivor and right when they announced that OZZY got voted off, I was dragged away and dumped into the car. Basket sey I wanted to see what Ozzy had to say about being voted off! I saw headlines, "OZZY - Doomed from the beginning".

But COWS can't believe Ozzy got voted off GAH!!! YOU, my man, got outwitted! HAH! AND he had an immunity idol too and he didn't play it! Blindsided! And those who don't watch Survivor can't give a shit but just let me do this okay! Damnit I loved Ozzy, even though he's so arrogant like that but it was fun! Now should I continue watching? Maybe to see the backlash. Shocking. *shivers*

Oh and today was also the last episode of Princess Hours and it was damn annoying I wanted to watch. Yes I know I've watched it 3 times now but NAK RECAP CAN? I just wanted to watch on TV and see the subtitles and just enjoy their huge faces on my screen. Haiz. Note: I WANT SOMETHING KOREAN FOR MY BDAY. Princess Hours DVD...Shinhwa...Andy...Gong Yoo...Andy...Gong Yoo...Trip to Seoul...-waves hand around nonchalantly-

a hastily done entry

I suppose it's finally here, my entry about Nuwai's wedding. Which is will super short because I'm suppose to go and mandi. Anyways, last Sunday, one member of GM got married. Actually no, she got married last year but she held her wedding reception recently. So to Nuwai, CONGRATULATIONS and I hope your marriage kekal and dirahmati Tuhan. Amin.



Lovely couple. And the rest of us were so blur getting to the place, walking that long stretch of East Coast Park to get there. I wouldn't be shocked with people stopped us and questioned us because we were in freaking kebayas and baju kurungs at the BEACH and there were people cycling and picnic-ing staring at us like WHATS THE HELLS. Whatever, we were working it baby! And haiz, remind me not to sit beside Rao at weddings because we two were damn blur like, "What should we do ah? What should we do now?"



And last Saturday was also my cousin's engagement so CONGRATS to Nadia too, who looked mroe gorgeous than usual it's annoying! Okay you know I love you dear. And hmmm I need to find a more appropriate picture than this but I'm super late for my brother's wedding.

Eh APER SAK AKU MEREPEK. I mean I have to go shower to go to Bai's chalet now, and it seems that Kak Pon's chalet is near Bai's and they were having a whale of a time together just now.

What happened before Nadia's Engagement

On a Saturday Afternoon

Our mother left us at the mercy of our father and as soon as the clock struck 3, my father lost it and started nagging worse than my mum and really YELLING at us about how we are always so late and so on and so forth, padahal we were very early sey. So he was really screaming hysterically at us and Iza was in the room going,

"No no don't leave me! Wait for me wait for me!" to me & Tina, because we were already ready.

And then she desperately continued on, "Whatever happens, we must stick together! Kalau nak kena cekik, we kena cekik together okay!"

Then finally, her masterplan of all masterplans, as the three of us turn to open the door and face our father, she gave this one last reminder, "Anything, kiter just meet in heaven okay."

Which made Tina & me cackle because like, THAT'S YOUR PLAN? To just DIE?! All of this was of course moot, because we came out to find our father in his room, mengaji-ing. We're not THAT bad what. And while we were waitng for the cab, our father drove up on his bike and told us that he was leaving first (which made all the yelling like, takda maknanyer ah) and then he rode off shaking his head. I remember it was bloody hot and I was holding the swan hantaran, which didn't lookk like a swan at all and yelling at Tina & Iza to get a cab and Iza's reaction was,

"Tina you take that side! Okay, aku bukak butang satu and selak siket skirt okay!" And her baju kebaya was already as obscene as it is but that really tickled me.

First it was Wenger admitting that their title hopes are over. And then I checked the news today and OMG Chelsea drew with Wigan! YAAAAAAAAAY!!! But my hand hurts now because I thumped the nearest thing to me in victory, which was my wall. Of all the luck.....

it's all wrong and it's not right!

I was already pissed that my computer was making problems again, and that my parents were noisy. And then, MICHAEL JOHNS got kicked out of American Idol! UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE. We were just watching videos of him at Rao's, and cooing and swooning and saying how it is impossible that he gets kicked out. Predictions of a Michael & David Archuleta final were made. And then, THIS! Sure Michael will still have a great career. But I can't believe he got kicked out so early, it's unfair and a TREMENDOUS INSULT. I am so offended.

It made me want to bash Jason Castro's face, kick Carly, pull Brooke's hair, tear off the Davids' faces and hurt all their vocal boxes. Don't even mention that Kristy Lee Cook lah!!!! -bitch slaps her- I didn't really tune in to Idol to listen to Michael, it's like I took him for granted. But now that he's no longer there, hilang selera! I've lost my appetite for Idol. Dah ah, I'm lazy to watch it now. Bluek. Basketball court!!!! CB CB!

I still haven't decided on an outfit for Nadia's engagement can!

multiplication

Just want to congratulate my cousin on the birth of his 1st son. And the name is brilliant - Rauf; reminds me another unbelievably sweet adorable kid I know. Remember Haidar Rauf?! -does the twist and salam thing- Wait, his name IS Rauf kan? Not Raoul? Anyways, he was damn cute lah and we were always so reluctant to leave YanaO's hse because of him. Haiz.

Oh this reminds me that my other nephew Ryan's birthday is coming up and I haven't gotten him a present!! What do you give a 1-year old? I wanted to give him a cute monkey suit maybe. But I suck at guessing sizes. OH and this Saturday is my cousin's engagement and Sunday is Nuwai's wedding ceremony thing and omg GIFTS people GIFTS!

I can't believe how fast the next generation is coming.

One for the now and eleven for the later

My computer is horribly spoilt now and I can't be bothered to ask my dad to fix it again because it seems beyond repair. All I want now is to watch Xman sampai habis, as in the Korean game show. Ahhhh X-Man is really fun lah that I can watch with barely any subtitles!! I like all their games, especially Dangyunhaji.

My 2nd favourite game has to be the frypan game, which is something like the concentration game but more exciting because you get with a huge frying pan! Hahah! IT'S SO FUN. Na La Ra Frypan! Ting ting ting tang tang tang ting ting tang tang Ula Yipe Nori! And Andy's & Jong Min's faces when their names get called out is so funny!! Muker cramped habis.

3rd favourite is the Korean tongue twister game. This is where Jong Min the Professor was born, because he sucks so much at the game! Terus keluar lah quotes about how you need to understand the words then you can pronounce it. Tapi dier buat tetap salah. It just sounds nice to the ears. But lately they haven't been playing it (or showing it at least) and Jong Min has been absent!!

Then of course there's the Horse Game and the couples game, which is SOMETIMES fun but depends on who's playing.

I'm doing the episodes systematically and lately I'm seeing more of the Shinhwa boys and omg Eric was so obvious when he was the X-man but cows his killer smile eh! -falls over from the impact- And Jun Jin's killer moves makes him slightly hot. Somehow I think Dong Wan looks like a pervert (I don't know why) but he's still very cute. I know Sya tergile-gile kan him and she can have him! Hahah he has that face you know, but he's quite funny too lah.

But my absolute favourite HAS to be ANDY OPPA!!! Have you seen his trademark heart-dance??? SO FREAKING CUTEEE. Omg the impact from that one can send me flying to Korea! Sighs. <333333>

OMG watch Xman #24 Dangyunhaji - has all my favourite players. Ji Hyun, Jong Min (he's back YAY) & Andy! Hahah Jong Min's smile is sooo cute and he just absorbs the attacks it's too funny!!! And Eric laughing in the background! Ah!

For those yang muker tak di-publish, sorry lah. Some of them aren't really good-looking but they grow on you like a mole or a tumour and then you learn to love them to bits and pieces. Like hilarious JongMin, Jung Hwan, Seung Gi (aaahhh) AND the MCs especially Mae Tuk! Boleh pecah perut ketawe...

This is another potentially regrettable entry. But for now, SARANGHAE YOOOOO.

the kaki is the scariest one of all

What happened last night is becoming rare in our household I feel. We used to do it all the time but now only occasionally, but more often, just between Tina & me or Iza & me. Just sitting around talking to one another and laughing.

At first it was just Tina & me demanding to be entertained by the other person. Ghost stories as usual, and then reminiscing about how we used to hold hands when we watched Smallville and pause the video to tell each, "Be strong!!!" at an especially exciting or critical moment. Smallville sak and we're still at it.

After Tina tried to scare me (successfully) and I told her that her nenek berjambul because I was freaked out, we moved to the living room where Tina asked our mother and me to test her peribahasa. So start lah kiter berperibahasa with no end in sight, until my mum said to us, "Mayat gajah tak boleh di tutop..." and I'm like MAYAT?! Hahah my mother was so syiok-sendiri-ing that she was giggling so long to herself and making up her own peribahasa until it was just her attempting to speak and Tina and me in full-blown ROFL.

Ah sakit perut. Okay next entry is a special one, please prepare yourself. HEHE.

We wouldn't call it a disaster. A narrow escape maybe. But Yati & me refused to pat each other on the back after the game.

Oh News of the World strikes again, this time giving Rocket Ron a new name "Kiss-tiano Ronaldo" in reference to the new way he celebrates his goals, that is by blowing kisses. To his secret girlfriend in the stands. Who they indirectly implied was well-endowed and that Ronny is smitten. Oh god.

What is it with cameras and Ronaldo? They zoom onto him, even when Rooney is the one who scored! And they zoom really close up too and for so long that Yati had to look away because she couldn't take it. His face is so intense, Wentworth Miller pon kalah! Ah, can I run away until the season is over? I can't take it!

Went to Ikea with the Ais, Ain, Fas, Rao & Naza just now just because we were bored and I was ON TIME. Why, god, WHY? We spent alot of time at the frames section, on the floor, trying to show Rao how her frames should be displayed and helping her choose colors. Well, I was just trying to confuse her but she won't listen to me anyways so what's the point. RAO, drill the nail in properly tau! And we saw a pretty picture of Naza too. Hehe.

It was raining on and off and luckily we were inside, the girls grabbing a bite and they started talking about driving and practicals and suddenly Ain talked about a cat who got struck by lightning. So tragic.

Naza & Rao went off and the rest of us continued with the showroom viewing and cows, the number of times we squealed and screamed. And MOSTLY over kitchen displays. Are we makciks or what sia?? Fas and her drapes and kitchencounter-cum-choppingboard. And the numerous times we flopped onto beds just to see how soft and bouncy it was. Sigh, IKEA is the best gift a husband can give to his wife. IKEA VOUCHER YO!! And Naza wants an OSIM chair in her hantaran. Pfft.

Ain somehow managed to convince us to buy the IKEA soft ice-cream, even though I was deadset on Cornetto. She's such an excellent describer of food, I found myself waahh-ing when she talked about baking cheesecake. What the hell!

OKay tukar topic.

Fas told me about this Korean game show and it sounded but I didn't think I would ever get to see it unless somebody fixes my computer. However, when I was SUPER bored today, I tried to watch a few YouTube videos that my comp hasn't been allowing me to watch. Eh, CAN lah so I went other videos and I accidentally found the game (because I forgot the title in the first place) and WAH, it was damn funny lah!!!

But I'm watching like all over the place, depends on who I'm liking at the moment. There's so many episodes and they don't post all of it online somehow. I especially like this game "Dangyunhaji", where your opponent say things about you and you HAVE to agree or you will lose. There is one especially funny segment from one of the episodes that made me laugh tears. The whole concept is so interesting uh but irrelevant because I can never get one whole complete episode.

It's the best place to find new stars to oogle at lah, like ERIC and Lee Min Ki and JONG MIN!!! Okay the last guy isn't really hot but he's quite funny. Too bad the show recently got cancelled but nevermind, there's YOUTUBE.

It's called X-Man, and basically, you are split into....okay you know what. I hate explaining games, even when I can tell them in person so nevermind lah. Just know it's damn fun nak mampos! The Koreans, Japanese are all damn creative and hilarious!

Which reminds me of the one game called Silent Library I think, Japanese, and if you made noise, very old grandpas will come and beat you up and bite you, WITH THEIR DENTURES and all that. Freaking kekek lah.
